What do you think is the most boring sport? I say it's got to be golf.

On TV? Golf,Bowling and Baseball all are good for a nap.
I enjoy golf as a participant though.

BASEBALLLLLLLLL (watching)
Golf is actually cool to me....It's so skilled and each shot can be interesting and exciting to watch for me. Plus the beautiful venues are relaxing and nice to watch.
Baseball is skilled, but there's so little action much of the time. It's not particularly fast-paced. I don't know or care for any of the players....I don't like the game....
Another boring one is NASCAR for me. I just see the cars go round and round and round and round......

Boring sports to watch are: track and field, golf and baseball. I like to play both golf and baseball (or softball) although I am not very good. I would have added NASCAR but driving a car in a circle isn't a sport IMO.

Baseball, Golf and NASCAR (which I also believe to be a non-sport). But at least with baseball and golf I can appreciate the skill level. I see NASCAR everyday on LA streets and freeways.

No sport is particularly boring if you are participating. Spectating is totally different. I don't think I can sit & watch a bowling tournament even though I like to bowl. k

why didn't anyone say soccer? that that is a sleeper..
in baseball there should be a maximum time of what a hitter can take those 'breaks'..

It has to be golf. I used to go with my husband and I got soooooooo bored riding around in the golf cart.

My son is the Director of Golf in the Bahamas, he got me tickets to the RYDER CUP this year in Lousiville and it was GREAT.
Golf is not boring if you play and know what kind of skill is needed to to hit a small white ball with a club 200 yards and land it with in 2 foot of a small cup consistantly.

Golf, followed very closely by NBA basketball.
I love college hoops, but I cannot stand the garbage they call "pro-basketball." Give me some defense and some unbiased refs and maybe I'll watch.

Without a doubt, soccer is the most boring "sport" on the planet. For countless hours you can watch a bunch of grown men run around a huge field chasing after a ball that they are not allowed to touch. And if you are lucky, maybe one of the teams will actually score a goal! More often than not, however, nothing will happen, and someone will be forced to kick balls at the goal in hopes that one of them will end the game in something other than a 0-0 tie. What a depressing waste of time. No wonder they have riots in other countries over soccer games. I would want to fight someone too if I spent my money on a ticket and all I got was that garbage.

Soccer is one of the world's most popular sports. Probably because it is the world's cheapest to play. All you need is a ball. No hoop, bat, sticks or pads. It can be played on concrete, grass or dirt.
As far as boring I think it is because of the way it is covered on TV and the offsides rule needs to go away. They need breakaways like in hockey! Then you'll see more scoring! The skills these players have with the ball is amazing!!
