hello everyone and welcome. im new to the forums but have frequented the chat rooms for about eight months. im from and live in charleston,west virginia. my claim to fame was serving in the united states army,infantry just out of high school.this was a fantastic experience,particularly being stationed in berlin and traveling for a short time to turkey during the desert storm conflict. i guess i might as well post a grammer*,punctuation discalimer now soin hopes people wont be to hard on me later.(spelling is ok though)

Welcome, welcome to the forums! God bless you for your time spent in uniform for the USA. Now your disclaimer, by the way, also works in everyone's favor who tries to type your user name quickly and gets too many Ls in there somehow. That being the case, you're welcome to type OnJohn14, though I doubt I'll spot you asking InJuneorJuly4100.
Lots of helpful stuff at the bottom of the all forums listing, and there's even some hillbilly-looking (I do mean respectable, btw) avatar picture things you can put under your user name if you like.
God bless, and come back at least twice a week so you don't go into withdrawl. That can get ugly.

hey onejohn! thanx for responding pal. ill check on the pictures you mentioned here shortly. i have to say these forums are absolutely amazing,the sheer amount of topics and number of people contributing.
gotta figure some sort of good catchy quote for the bottom also. im leaning towards something from a john wayne movie-bang! tom
