I don't need any lessons on natural gas, believe me.
Speaking of natural gas, my sister and bil have property down south of here. There has been drilling going on near the edge of their property for natural gas for the past several months and they finally hit some!!! It is such a large pocket (?) that they are going to try for oil as well. I don't know how it all works, but the bottom line is that they (my sister and bil) will be getting some money for this. I'm excited for her. I think it will be worth the loud noise they have to live with now after the pump or whatever it is they use is put in place.

Evelyn and I went to the park yesterday and took a walk around the pond. They just recently (over the summer) added a paved pathway all the way around the pond complete with picnic tables along the way, so I thought we'd check it out. They also replaced the playground equipment. Here are pics from our walk.

I'm going to try to make the walk at the pond a daily thing. We went again today and Ben came along. Evelyn brought her bike and Ben his skates. It's quite a walk all the way around, but not too taxing. The weather is really nice and I need the excersize, so it was nice. They also got to play with some kids on the equipment today. It's good to get outside.

Thanks (((((Sharon))))) I really did have a lot of fun rolling around on the floor with Madelyn. She is a cutie-pie.
I'm excited for my sister and bil. She works up at her church and her husband is retired, so any extra money coming in is a huge blessing. I just pray that the "rig" or whatever it is stays safe, because they are very close to it.
We're going out today to get Ben's haircut. We also have some work ahead of us as this week they are doing a "large garbage pickup" and we need to get a bunch of junk out to the curb before Monday. They only do these pickups once every 6 months, so we try to take advantage of it when they do. It's a good time to trim tree limbs and throw out old appliances and furniture and stuff. Of course, a lot of people come and dig through the stuff you put at the curb, so we try to wait until the last minute. I don't really care if they take stuff or not, but it bugs Ronnie to have strangers digging through our junk.

Well, we ended up cleaning out a lot of our carport and shed, and then we went over to Mom's and cut down some tree limbs for her. It was A LOT of work, I'm pooped. I had to come home then and cook dinner. Spaghetti. At least that was easy.
My body hurts.

Here they are....there are quite a few. I just click on the slide show icon and sit back and watch. Where you see the rocky steps toward the end is where we started up the big hill.
The last couple pics are at the Dairy Queen on the way home.
