The rules of this thread:
* This will be the only prayer thread in the Women Only folder. Any threads started solely for the purpose of prayer requests will be locked and linked to this thread.
* You may still post prayer requests in the chat thread.
* Up-dates can and should also be posted in this thread.
* Praise reports may be posted in this thread.
* No discussion is to take place in this thread. If you would like to comment on a prayer request, up-date or praise report, you may either pm the person or post in the chat thread, but any comments that are not prayer requests, up-dates or praise reports will be deleted in order to keep this thread in order.
* Any questions regarding this thread can be discussed in the Women Only chat thread or you may pm me with questions.

I have several prayer requests.
Rick (DH) is struggling with his faith.
Jimmy (DS) in prison.
Andrea (DD)
Karaline (DGD) atrial septal defect (Downs' Syndrome)
Finances
My health
Basically everywhere we turn there is trial and tribulation, right now I am having an anxiety attack that is making my stomach and chest hurt. I have a doc appt this afternoon for pap and breast exam (Mammogram to follow). The last couple of days I haven't been able to keep anything down after I eat, my stomach begins hurting and I have to fight to keep from getting sick. On the surface everything seems in order but I feel like I am going crazy on the inside.
Just need God to settle me and make everything ok.

I have several prayer requests
That my grandfather would be saved before he passes away. I have been praying for him for 21 years and would like others to join in continued prayer.
That our family business would glorify God and that we would use his resources wisely and with great discernment. Also, we need some warehouse space to rent out at a fair price (so far, all of the warehouse space I have been looking at is more than I want to spend.)
A possible move in the near future. We need a bigger home and more land to have an office/warehouse. The logistics of this move will be tricky and God must be in this to get everything we need accomplished. We need our home to sell (no easy feat where I live) and then we need a good deal on our next home (this shouldn't be that difficult.)

The Angioplasty that I will be having tomorrow morning, that the doctor will find the problem and be able to fix i, and not have to go to more drastic surgery.

Please add these to your prayers:
1. 20 yo DD is pregnant, unmarried, and is unsure who father is
2. 14 yo DD is being influenced by older sister.
3. Salvation for DH and all three DD's
4. for my strength and endurance to pray this time through
5. a deeper relationship with God for myself

Please pray that God continues to work a miracle in my life in regards to my recovery.
My eldest and my SO's coming to know the Lord.
That God help me to be a better servant to Him and others.
That this oppressive heat doesn't last long and for all the people who are having to deal with it without coolers or any relief.

My dad is going in for back surgery tomorrow at noon central time. Prayer would be appreciated. He is 75 years old.

My brother (23yo) and sister (21yo) who are living at home and both sort of just drifting right now and not sure what they're doing with their lives. My brother is trying to figure out how to finish school or get a job, and his long-term girlfriend just broke up with them. My sister is waiting around for her boyfriend to finish boot camp, and looking for a job.

Oh so happy for this thread! Thank you, God!
My requests at the moment are blessedly few:
- As always, my husband's salvation ... also, please pray that God gives me a heart of prayer again regarding this. I've had it in the past, but have lost it recently ... nothing feels better than to pour my soul into prayer for John and I miss it!
- I am due to deliver baby Avery via Cesarean in about three weeks. I get very afraid when I let myself. Please pray that the dear Lord calms my nerves about this and ensures a safe delivery and protects me from having a stroke (I had one after giving birth to my dd last year).
- My grandmother ("Grandma Honey") was diagnosed with inoperable and lung cancer a few days ago. Her belief in Jesus is wobbly at best. She has experimented with other philosophies and is surrounded by non Christian family. I feel helpless in my prayer life right now, and can't seem to pray "right" if you know what I mean.
- Lastly, remember to thank God for our Christian sisters and for providing this forum as a place for us to come together and support eachother.

My husband is considering taking a position with the airline he used to work for. The position is in Boston. It would be an excellent move financially and since it would get him back with the airline, it would increase our chances of getting back to CA.
If he takes the position, then we have to decide if
1- dd and I will stay in Indiana and continue life here.
2- dd and I will move to CA and get a home set up out there for all of us.
3- dd and I will move to Boston.
Will discuss the pros and cons in the Women's Sept. chat thread.

I have a few.
For my husband to come back to the Lord. He at one time confessed Jesus and if asked now he would still say so but he doesn't live it out. No teaching our boys, no conversations with me, no reading the Bible, no prayer, basically no fruit. 
For my boys that all that I'm trying to teach them will sink in, that their hearts will be softened to love and discipline and training. Mostly that their hearts will be softened and remain so to God, for their accepting Jesus when they are ready.
For my dad. He has cysts on his pancreas and the doctors hope they will go away by themselves. If they don't surgery will be done to remove them. He is in not so great health and doesn't really need the stress of surgery on his body.
For my mom and her stress levels at work. My dad is on disability and she is basically the provider in a high stress job.
For our upcoming trip to see family. Many of them do not know Jesus as their savior and I am obviously greatly concerned for them. Also for our safety as we travel.
And lastly for me, that I would continue to press through and grow in my relationship with Jesus and not become apathetic, that I would grow to become a better wife and mother.

If you could please pray for the end of my pregnancy. I have just less than 3 weeks til the due date. This is my second baby. I have gestational diabetes and just found out I have GBS too so I am scared about all the complications that I read about, which I shouldn't have read because I knew it would get me freaking.
anyway, please pray that I can have the peace that surpasses all understanding and that my labour and the baby will be fine!

For my oldest brother and two older sisters and one younger than me, that we can put aside our differences. I haven't heard from them in a long time. Now that we are getting older, I would like to hear from them. I don't think it is right that we don't keep in touch. I write but they return my letters. Hopefully with prayer this can be worked. I live on the east coast and they live out in Idaho.

I truly want to grow more in the Lord.Others say I am growing but I have trouble seeing it for myself and believing it.A couple reasons are that I am not doing so well in my prayer life and should pray Way more often than I do,and need to be more in the Word also. Can you please pray God will help me become more motivated and Disciplined in these areas?
