I grill and cook and clean and do laundry and vacum and......... oh well. It is easier to grill than cook and clean up I find is somewhat easier. Also the smell is so much better coming off the grill. I do all that I mentioned because me and my wife both work and I work a rotational day shift so sometimes I'm at home while she works her 8 to 5 job. Grilling is quicker most of the time.

I teach elementary P.E. You should see the kids faces light up when they leave the school and enter the playground. It's the same for us guys in the back yard. We can feel confined in a kitchen where everything around us must be clean. It may also be the sheer power of a grill. Alot of guys like the George Foreman grill for the inside. No slow broiling, tempered range cooking, monotonous stirring, beeping buttons (microwave), sluggish straining, or wimpy toasting. Just naked meat sizzling on a dangerously hot piece of metal. You might even get to hold an extra large spatula or fork.... sounds like the plan.

most men grill because there is less dishes to wash. most men grill because it is manly to grill. Women cook on a dainty stove, we cook with fire. most men grill because it is a challenge to grill better than other men. (most of us are competitive, it comes with testosterone) most men grill because they do not want to compete in the kitchen with their wives or girlfriends.

When we're talking "grill" here, are we talking those wimpy adjustable propane jobs, or the real ones where real charcoal is burnt? quote:
